Non-billable requests Heading link
Most routine maintenance requests for public areas, classrooms, hallways, and offices are non-billable. For example, replacement of light bulbs, door closure adjustments, plumbing problems, heat and air conditioning adjustments, broken windows, power outages, graffiti, etc., in state-supported buildings are all non-billable type maintenance requests.

Departmental requests for equipment installations, decorative improvements or services, remodeling, construction, moving or event planning are considered billable and require a C-FOAPAL account to be provided when submitting the request.

Submitting your maintenance request Heading link
All maintenance requests have to be submitted via our customer portal, FMWeb. All university employees should be able to login into FMWeb using their NetID and password. If you experience a problem logging into FMWeb, please contact our Customer Support team at (312) 996-7511 or servdesk@uic.edu.
